It was our first trip to the island. We could not wait to arrive and explore the beach scene. All we needed was one of the cozy one or two bedroom duplex cottages. Oh yes, you should know they are just a few feet off the beach! We partied every night like a bunch of beach bums. We loved our cottage beach life vacation!

Directions to the Tropical Winds
When driving from Captiva, it is three roads east of Bowman's Beach. Very fine place, we got the most of it for two weeks!

I love it here. For a Sanibel Vacation, be sure to bring your favorite coffee maker. My new Mr. Coffee has a strong mode! Yes, you can cook regular or hit the button for strong! The coffee keeps me going and we explore it all.
