Excellent Stay in the Gulffront Apartment

Our family of six needed a nice sized unit and the Shalimar fit that very nicely. The apartment units are the largest and they have two bedrooms and two separate baths. It is really what you need with any family of four or more. Doc Ford's was the best restaurant, but the Dairy Queen is where the kids always wanted to go.

Putting Around the Island on Bicycles
We were able to plan our days (get help at the front desk) with a little help from the host. You can take little scenic trips somewhere different each day using the bicycles. Do it on bikes, which really made the trip a bunch more fun. Take advantage of the water-toys!

Things to Consider for Sanibel Island
Now I learned my first lesson on preparing for a Sanibel Island vacation. Be sure to pack more shorts, an extra swimsuit (one is always wet!), and buy some sun dresses when you get here (synergy sportwear). Spend all your time by the water!
