Home of many of the local civic meetings, island clubs, and special events (such as the Annual Shell Festival). The Community House is located next to the city playground and the Island Cow Restaurant.

Luminary Festival Weekend
December is so nice on the islands. Sure hope more folks participate with illuminated candles. It is so cute and adds a twist to the holiday season. Most of the hotels, bars, and restaurants participate and some go all out (Jerry's) with grand displays.

Dancing on Sanibel Island
The dancing events are the best. Wow, you have to been in such fine shape to do those moves. Up, down and around. Just remarkable.
