Here you have one of those just too awesome places, that you will stop and enjoy again and again. The location just forces it, the sunset patio dining is the very best on the island. You can have nicely prepared healthy-salads, hot grilled fish, pasta, ice tea, wine, or even imported beer. Do drive by and check it out.

Call in sick to be at the Mucky Duck Hi...What is the hold ups. Every thing is ready for a Southwest Florida December...sorry, it gets dark too early. However, we have to have a sunset beer at the Mucky Duck! Head on down, the HR people are not at work next week.
Big Fans of the Patio Bar Yes, the Mucky Duck sits right off the shoreline on Captiva and has excellent sunset view, seafood, and adult cocktails.

Do Check on the Parking One of the best spots around (super for all ages) to try for lunch or sunsets. Parking is the big issue, call ahead about that if driving in to the restaurant-bar.

Big Fan of the Outdoor Dining The sell this dish called Jalapeno Poppers, which are just the right ticket for going with beer. As long as the weather is good, ask for a seat at the patio. Inside is not nearly as good.
Food Cooperative for Yummy Tastes! The Bar-B-Que Shrimp with Bacon has a deep and powerful flavor, the cooks do it right at the Mucky Duck. The breeze outside lets you enjoy the patio bar more often than you think. We have come out thinking it was too hot for outside, but here it is just 5 to 10 degrees cooler when the wind comes off the cooler gulf waters. Experienced boaters can moor just off the coast.
