Our four day beachfront vacation was just fantastic. We stayed right there close to the lighthouse beach, at Shell Island Beach Club. It is amazing how many people use the beach very early in the morning and even all throughout the night. You might need to use your bicycles, as to the beach parking does often fill up.

Walk the entire Beach Loop What a fantastic beach area, nicely highlighted by the Historic Sanibel Lighthouse. A two hour walk goes so fast here.

One of the Top Places for Sightseeing What a nice beach area for walking and sightseeing. It is really nice how you can loop all the way around the corner of the island. Walk over to the fishing pier, it is always packed with those trying to catch dinner. Take your fish fillets over to the Lazy Flamingo and they cook it for you for cheap.
