People that live and play on this island have it so good. Locals know the unique places to combine sports, recreation, dinner, and cocktails. The Dunes has a spot we like for lunch or dinner, it is so casual and relaxing. Golfing as a backdrop makes it all very nice. Try one of the cool salads, the Captiva Island Salad or the Sanibel Greek Salad!

Sanibel Island Beer Bar
The Captiva Island Salad was excellent. They have cold beer too!

Everyone Raves over the Grouper Reuben
We figured a golfing vacation would be perfect to get some extra fitness to go with the beach walks and bicycle riding. Each year we do a different hotel off Sanibel Beach. I have to take a moment and mention the reuben style grouper sandwich they serve inside. There is no other place that makes it, this is a winning combination.
