Best Food on the Island
Perfect for families, as your children love the menu as much as adults. Now they have these really big salads and you get to pick out the ingredients, just how cool is that. The wraps are big and tasty, so it is not on about burgers. This is a happy place and one with a very healthy menu. Most people would not know that based upon the brand name. We would rate this as a top five Sanibel restaurant.

Gourmet Grilled Cheese Burgers
These are Gourmet Grilled Cheese Burgers, a true American classic. The cheese is part of it but the extensive ingredients: green pepper, tomatoes, relish, banana pepper, jalapeno, onion and more. That is the key, pile it on. Come see us too, our staff at the Anchor Inn will greet you with a big smile (1245 Periwinkle Way). Now it is burger time.

The giant Sanibel Island cheeseburger!
This is our pick for the finest cheeseburgers in the area. Go with the Pounder! Plus, you will not believe the salads and authentic milk shakes. After spending our day sightseeing on the bicycles, we rejoice our food findings.

Nice Ice Cream Shakes
The restaurant's environment is so friendly it is just refreshing. You can even grab a seat at the soda fountain, but a cozy booth is the way to go.

Wow the Banana Split is Yummy!
I liked it a lot, especially the way we could invent our own salad (fat free dressing). If you split that and one of the burgers (no mayo or butter), it is very filling and nutritious. The only problem is when you see a ice cream sundae or banana split delivered to the table next to yours. But, just split that too!
