Fun Day at Sanibel Causeway Park
The Causeway Bridge Park here in Sanibel is excellent and a great alternative to hitting the traditional beach. There are plenty of shady areas, which are a pleasure to use. Park and play by the water and in the shade is very cool and unique.

The Island is Just so Bicycle Friendly
For the locals that come over to the island for daytrips, the free parking at the beach comes in very handy. Spend just a day or two touring Sanibel and it is easy to realize how tough the automobile parking can be. Instead, we just take our bikes from the causeway beach zone and peddle the trails to the shopping, museums, and restaurants.

Everyone Likes the Causeway Park
We enjoy the Causeway Islands, which have really been improved. Now they have two great restroom areas on the islands with access on both sides. Of course, there is the bridge fee but no parking fees on the causeway beach.
