You will be happy with a great location, as the area is just so beautiful. The variety of opportunities to explore the waterfront is what makes it all happen here. The staff was very helpful, giving us ideas for restaurants and beach bars. They also recommended Captiva Cruises, a sunset adventure like no other.

Where Boaters can stay on Captiva Island What a spot to enjoy the waters of Pine Island Sound, Tarpon Bay, and the Sanibel Gulfside. The boat docking area is right in the middle of all the hotel rooms and you can pull your automobile up to it, making it easy to load your fishing equipment. The boat ramp is never busy, so putting in the boat is wide open.
The Boating & Bike Trails are Special A happy-go-lucky vacation trip just needs two must have items when you stay at the Castaways. Bring your boat and bicycles to explore the land and sea, the place is amazing. We rent our bikes at Finnimore's Shop, the rental bicycles are kept inside at night and do not have any rust. For a party night of fun, rent a surrey (room for four together, with a canopy). The Darling Bike Trail is a must see and do.
