Exploring the Area is so Much Fun

Our stay was sweet and rewarding, a week long vacation on this island was well deserved. The daily work grind sure gets old, but setting up a little getaway gives you something special to look forward to. The hotel is run by some true fun in the sun experts. Ask for suggestions, and they have a big list of great things to do. Make sure to try RC Otters for breakfast and the Mucky Duck for sunset snacks, plus cold ice house beer on the patio.

Big Parks were an Interesting Hit for us
An interesting thing we discovered during our stay at the Captiva Island Inn was all the parks and outdoor spots on the islands. We were focused on the beaches, but ended up spending more time along the bay. The Ding Darling park is an experience people will remember, what a up-close view of the nature and eco-system. Take the tram which is available throughout the day (call for times).
