To get into the island style of things, start with some fresh grilled seafood. Our life is casual and dressing up is not something any of us want to do. Instead, this is the place to bike to your favorite eatery (I love the Blue Giraffe) and then stop by the beach for an after dinner walk. Bring your bicycles (or hit Finnimore bike shop to rent) and bicycle locks. The car stays right at the hotel the entire trip!

Restaurant Ideas for Pleasure Time
They have been hosting more art events here. The shopping center is huge and could really host band and music type of festivals.

Wait Until Right After the Big Rush
It is the spot for breakfast and you do not have to hurry in (breakfast was posted good until noon). Around 10:30am is great, as the main thrust of tourists will have typically died down and you can get very quick service. My choice is the Sanibel Scramble: fresh eggs, onions, spinach, cheese, green pepper, mushrooms, with muffins and homefries.
