It is all so pretty on the gulfside and the waves do not get to big. On the other coast I have to constantly watch the children. Those fat east coast of florida waves can knock them right down and in. The Lee County coastline is the place to get nice tans, sea shells, and return back to the hotel with big smiles.

The beaches here are so seductive. Go out with your sweetheart at midnight for some skinny dipping.

This is a nice beach for sure, with just off the beach parking. Meters are used, and you will get ticketed for over staying the time limit.

Slow Pace Captiva City Government
Great writing! You might want to follow up on this topic with city officials. From what I have heard, the people of Captiva do not want to change anything, and do not want more beach parking. The Captiva Business Places are all for it, as it would be more people and more sales dollars.

One of the best and most popular daily attractions in Sanibel and Captiva is the Blind Pass Beach Park. Everyone is battling for the right to use the beach, which means finding a free and available parking space. Metered parking spaces are extremely limited once you get near said Captiva. Find a spot, and you just hit the Captiva Lottery!
